What EVIPNet REACH Uganda Does

28 October, 2015 by Buwembo David in Health News

We contribute to strengthening health systems through the use of research evidence for decision making in the following ways;

a)      Producing research syntheses such as evidence-based policy briefs to address priority policy questions for decision-making in health.

b)      Organizing multi-stakeholder dialogues, around the evidence-based policy briefs involving policymakers, researchers, civil society, the general public, and the media among others.

c)       Operating a Rapid Response Service (RRS) for short term needs for research evidence by decision makers.

d)      Undertaking capacity-building trainings for researchers, policy makers and civil society in supporting evidence-informed health policies.

e)      Managing the Uganda Clearinghouse for health policy and systems research: a web-based portal for supporting the dissemination of SURE project Knowledge Translation products (i.e. policy dialogue summaries, evidence briefs, rapid response summaries and research syntheses).
